TOMS

i recently bought a pair of TOMS. if you have never heard of TOMS, you should. TOMS is a shoe company. they make these sweet, slipper-like shoes that are breathable, fashionable and supportive. the support comes not only in the arch of the shoe, but in the mission of the company. for every pair of TOMS you purchase, they will give a pair to a child in need. at a cost of approximately $50, this is not a bad deal. you get two shoes for the price of one. only, you give away one of the two pairs. but how does anyone lose in this?!?! many of us spend $50 and more on shoes. why not spend $50 on nice shoes, and know that somewhere in the world, a child in need is getting a pair for free?? the project began in argentina, where they “dropped” 10, 000 pairs, and has since gone in to south africa, where they “dropped” 60, 000 pairs. it seems they have plans to continue spreading. hanson even partners with them. so, mm-bop your way over to their website, www.tomsshoes.com, and get yourself a pair. also, you can go to whole earth provisions on mockingbird in dallas. that’s where i got mine!
